The Mazda 6 is being redesigned for 2018 – and will launch in the spring of 2018. We’ll have more info when it is available.
The Mazda6 was redesigned for 2014 – good news is that 2C now has a head restraint, bad news is that 2C is now too narrow to fit even a narrow backless booster because the buckles for 2D & 2P are now rigid and embedded in the seat cushion in a way that makes 2C too narrow to fit most car seats or boosters.
The spacing between the innermost lower anchors is 17.4 inches – see here for more about this type of “center LATCH.”
2009 saw the introduction of head restraints for 2D & 2P… but sadly none for 2C.
The spacing between the innermost lower anchors is 18.3 inches – see here for more about this type of “center LATCH.”
This does NOT include the hatchbacks – which are discussed on this separate page.
The Mazda6 was first introduced in 2003. There are no head restraints in any of the positions. All 3 positions have shoulder belts.
The spacing between the innermost lower anchors is 18.3 inches – see here for more about this type of “center LATCH.”
