We have a 2014 explorer and are looking at getting the Clek FLLO for our son. The two side seats have inflatable airbags but the center does not. Can we use the center for both rear and front facing?

    • The center of the 2014 Explorer is sadly unusable as it is overlapped so much into the driver’s seat that a car seat in the center sits on top of the buckle for the driver’s side seat, making it such that a car seat in the center takes up both the center and driver’s side seating positions. Therefore, you’ll need to put the car seat on the side and will need a car seat that will eventually allow for a seat belt installation using the inflatable seat belts… which right now are Chicco and Britax. I’d look at the Chicco Next Fit.

What are your thoughts on Inflatable Seatbelts with the new Britax ClickTight series? We just purchased a Boulevard ClickTight and have a 2014 Fusion with the Inflatable Seatbelts.

Britax says they are currently not certified, but I think this is more timing with the new seat models vs. actual safety. Should I install with Latch or in the center seat?
