Driver Training Test

We’re so excited that you’re going to be part of uberFAMILY!

uberFAMILY is using the IMMI Go car seat. The IMMI Go can be used by children who are AT LEAST 12 months old AND 22 pounds AND 31 inches. A child is too big for the IMMI Go when they are either 48 pounds or 52 inches tall – which is usually around 6 – 8 years old.

It is very important that you know how to use the Go. The Go is different from any car seat you’ve seen before; it installs differently and the child’s straps adjust differently. Therefore, we have created a step by step learning plan to teach you how to use all parts of the seat.

The 1st part of learning how to use the Go car seat happens here online. You MUST finish the entire online learning BEFORE you come to your in-person training. The online learning should take you about 30 minutes. At the end of the online learning there is a form that asks for your name, email, phone number, and vehicle information. Make sure you fill in this form as this is how we will know that you finished the online course.

The 2nd part of learning how to use the Go car seat happens at the in-person training. It takes about an hour. The better you prepare ahead of time with the online learning, the quicker you will be able to leave the in-person training.

At the in-person training, you will do the following:

• Pick up your IMMI Go car seat
• Practice on your own:
  • Practice installing and uninstalling the IMMI Go in your car until you can do it all in less than 3 minutes
  • Practice making the IMMI Go ready for a child to ride in it
  • Practice securing a doll in the IMMI Go
• Skills Test #1: Show an Uber representative that you can properly AND quickly:
  • Install and uninstall the IMMI Go in your car
  • Make the IMMI Go ready for a child to ride in it
  • Secure a doll in the IMMI Go
• Skills Test #2: Show The Car Seat Lady that you can properly AND quickly:
  • Install and uninstall the IMMI Go in your car
  • Make the IMMI Go ready for a child to ride in it
  • Secure a doll in the IMMI Go

If you can’t find your vehicle, the full list of vehicles is here. If you still are unable to find your vehicle then please contact Uber and we will add it.
