The Macan was first introduced in 2015. There is minimal seat belt overlap between 2D/2C. All positions have adjustable, removable head restraints.
The Macan has a very shallow back seat – which means that if you plan on installing a rear-facing car seat in 2D or 2P, you’ll want a car seat that takes up as little room as possible into the front seat – like a Cybex Aton2, Graco Extend2Fit, or Nuna Rava. A better bet is to put a rear-facing car seat in 2C where, with the proper narrow car seat, you can get 2D & 2P all the way back. The Chicco Fit2 is a great choice for 2C.
