This vehicle is not an ideal family vehicle. It has a very shallow 2nd row. Rear-facing seats in 2D & 2P have a tough time fitting while still allowing the adults in front enough room. For those needing a rear-facing convertible that doesn’t take up much room into the front seat, the Clek Fllo works well in the center (installed with seat belt), and the Graco Extend2Fit works well on the side seats (installed with LATCH)
Jeep allows borrowing the innermost lower anchors to install a car seat in 2C using LATCH – and the spacing between the innermost lower anchors is 19 inches (484mm).
