The 500X was introduced for the first time in 2016. The rigid buckles and prominent bump at the bight (seat crease where the seat bottom meets the seat back) make this back seat an inhospitable place for many car seats (in particular infant seat bases) and boosters. This is not a vehicle we would recommend.
