The XF is not a sedan we’d recommend as the back seat is poorly set up for families. The use of 2C renders 2D & 2P useless (if you want to use a seat belt in 2D or 2P) due to the exceptionally thoughtless design of the seat belt hardware for 2C which when used blocks 2D & 2P. If you’re looking for a wagon, we’d suggest the Subaru Outback.
The XF was redesigned for 2016 and now gains a head restraint in 2C.
