For the 2005-2007 Chrysler Town & Country, Chrysler Voyager, Dodge Caravan, and Dodge Grand Caravan this only applies to those models with 3rd row Stow & Go seats (see the next section for those without 3rd row Stow & Go).
The head restraints were changed for 2011 and became non-removable and protrude forward.
The lower anchors in 3C are overlapped into 3D in a way that if you install a car seat in 3C with the lower anchors you can not put anyone or anything in 3D. So long as you are OK giving up 3D, you may install a car seat in 3C with the lower anchors. However, you can not use the lower anchors to secure a booster in 3C as the booster will sit on top of the seat belt it needs.
This applies ONLY to the models that did NOT have 3rd row Stow & Go. For 2005-2007 with Stow & Go see above.
It is possible to retrofit tether anchors for 3D & 3P. The part number is 05012007AB. The vehicle owner is responsible for part AND installation costs.

The 3rd row has 4 lower anchors – all spaced 11 inches apart. You can install a car seat in 3C with LATCH – and be able to use 3D and 3P for people or car seats (car seats will be installed with the seat belt). If you install a car seat in 3D or 3P with LATCH, the car seat will sit on top of the seat belt for 3C – meaning that you won’t be able to put anyone or anything in 3C. You also can not use the lower anchors in 3D or 3P for a booster, as they will make the booster sit on top of the seat belt it needs to use.
To try and get 3 car seats in this 3rd row, install in 3C with LATCH and 3D & 3P with the seat belt (and always add the tether strap if the car seat is forward-facing).
