Vehicle Manufacturers who Forbid Center LATCH

The following vehicle manufacturers have ZERO vehicles where it is permissible to install a car seat in the center of the back seat using the vehicle’s lower LATCH anchors.

• Infiniti
• Isuzu
• Jaguar
• Kia
• Land Rover
• Maserati
• Mercedes Benz
• Mini
• Mitsubishi
• Porsche
• Range Rover
• Rolls Royce
• Volvo

There are some vehicles that do feature center LATCH. To see if your vehicle is one of them, it must be listed in this table here AND, if the lower anchors are spaced wider than 11 inches apart, you must have a car seat listed in this table here that allows the use of the lower anchors at wider spacings.
