Kia Forte5

2014-2018 Kia Forte hatchback (5-door)

The Forte5 was redesigned slightly for 2014 (only subtle changes). The shoulder belt for 2C is now detachable – which means it has a significant amount of hardware on both sides which can interfere with the installation of some car seats.

The seat belt buckles are on a somewhat long piece of seat belt webbing (shorter than on the 2011-2013) – you may find the need to twist the buckle stalk (up to 3 full revolutions) to shorten it in order to get some car seats installed tightly – as shown here

2011-2013 Kia Forte hatchback (5-door)

The Forte hatchback was first introduced in 2011. It has adjustable, removable head restraints and shoulder belts for all seating positions.

The seat belt buckles are on a fairly long piece of seat belt webbing – you may find the need to twist the buckle stalk (up to 3 full revolutions) to shorten it in order to get some car seats installed tightly – as shown here
